CALABRIA ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Calabria Road between Rankins Springs Road and citrus Road. Calabria Road will be closed from 25th to 29th November 2024. A full road closure and detour will be in place with access to local residents only.
MALLEE STREET, WILGA STREET AND LEONARD ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Mallee Street, Wilga Street and Leonard Road, Hanwood between Kidman Way and Ash Street. Mallee Street, Wilga Street and Leonard Road will be closed from 4th November to 23rd December 2024 while contractors upgrade Kidman Way on behalf of Griffith City Council and Transport for NSW. A full road closure will be in place with access to local residents only via Ash Street.
MURPHY ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Murphy Road between Kidman Way and Old Willbriggie Road. Murphy Road will be closed from 18th November until 31st January 2024 while contractors upgrade the roadway. Access for Baiada and Heavy Vehicles provided; follow signage.
BEVERLEY ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Beverley Road between Kidman Way and Old Willbriggie Road. Beverley Road will be closed - NEW DATES TO BE CONFIRMED - 2024 while road works are being conducted on Kidman Way. A full road closure will be in place, with all residents to access Beverley Road via Old Willbriggie Road.
YAMBIL STREET
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of the Westbound Lane of Yambil Street between Daines Street and Kookora Street. This section of Yambil Street will be closed from 25th September to 20th November 2024 to undertake Stage 4 of the upgrade. Access to businesses available; please follow signage.
BROMBAL ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Brombal Road between Little Road and Crook Road. Brombal Road will be closed on Friday 22nd November 2024 while Essential Energy perform works on electrical infrastructure. A full road closure will be in place with access to residents only between 9am and 3 pm.
OLYMPIC STREET
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Olympic Street - Eastbound Lane between Wayeela Street and Ulong Street. Olympic Street - Eastbound Lane will be closed from 6am Friday 22nd to 4pm Sunday 24th November 2024 to accommodate the Olympic Street Festival. Access to local traffic available via Ulong Street, utilising the Westbound Lane.
WALLA AVENUE AND KOOKORA STREET INTERSECTION
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Walla Avenue between Benerembah Street and Yarrabee Street as well as the closure of Kookora Street between Griffin Avenue and Murrumbidgee Avenue. The Walla Avenue and Kookora Street intersection will be closed from Tuesday 6th August until Saturday 30th November 2024 while Griffith City Council construct a new roundabout. A full road closure and detour will be in place with access to residents only.
GOOLAGONG STREET
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Goolagong Street between Kennedy Street and Kennedy Street. Goolagong Street will be closed until 31st December 2024. A full road closure and detour will be in place with access to local residents only.
DICKIE ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Dickie Road between Boorga Road and Nelson Road. Dickie Road will be closed until Thursday the 31st October 2024 as Griffith City Council continue Stage B of the upgrade and sealing under the NSW Fixing Local Roads Program. A full road closure will be in place with access to local residents and businesses only.
NELSON ROAD
Notice is hereby given under the Roads Act 1993, Section 122, of the temporary closing of Nelson Road between Kidman Way and Dickie Road. Dickie Road will be closed until Thursday the 31st October 2024 as Griffith City Council continue Stage B of the upgrade and sealing under the NSW Fixing Local Roads Program. A full road closure will be in place with access to local residents and businesses only.
