Recently Updated Parks

Mallee Park

Mallee Park located in the village of Nericon underwent a complete facelift and redevelopment during 2017. The community of Nericon got right behind the design and now have a fantastic facility for all to enjoy.

The previous playground equipment in Mallee Park had long been a maintenance issue for Council staff and the community have welcomed the new playground equipment and shade shelter that now adorn the park.  In addition, the new concrete edging was completed by Clint Ward (another Nericon local) on behalf of Mike Scobie Concreting.  The colours of the playground and shade shelter have been chosen to blend into the mallee bush land that permeates through the park and surrounds.
