2024 Nsw Local Government Elections

2024 Nsw Local Government Elections The 2024 NSW Local Government Elections took place on Saturday, 14 September, with eligible residents from across the Local Government Area (LGA) casting their votes. Many residents took advantage of the opportunity to vote early last week.
Initial vote counting commenced on election night, however, the counting is not yet complete. Postal votes are still being accepted, and voters who applied for postal voting by 9 September are reminded that these must be received by the NSW Electoral Commission by Friday, 27 September 2024, to be included in the final tally.
Residents can stay updated and follow the progress of the count at https://elections.nsw.gov.au/
The official declaration of the Mayor and Councillors is anticipated during the first week of October.
