Artist Essentials: Monoprinting with Brooke Jarvis

Join local artist Brooke Jarvis for sessions of monoprinting and mark making. Week one will see participants working with oil paints to create prints. Week two participants will work with waterbased mediums to print using a different methods to the first week. 

Brooke Jarvis:

Brooke Jarvis is a local artist and teacher. Her practice includes drawing, painting and printmaking. Brooke completed a Bachelor of Visual Art with First Class Honours (Painting) at the Australian National University. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in ACT and NSW. Brooke is a two-time finalist of the Shirl National Youth Portrait Prize and the ANU Drawing Prize. She was a recipient of the EASS Legislative Assembly Prize. You can see her work on instagram @brookejarvisart, or visit her exhibition, “Changing Light” at Griffith Regional Theatre’s Artspace in January 2024.

Materials:

All materials are supplied. Please bring along an apron and any preferred materials.
