Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
Friday, 04 Oct 2024

This production, licenced by Music Theatre International (Australasia), tells the story of Sophie & her mother Donna, and Sophie’s quest to find her father to walk her down the aisle. What follows is a hilarious and musical tale of love and laughter with lots of great characters adding to the drama and fun of the wedding preparations.
Theatre Manager, Marg Andreazza said “We are so excited to have secured the rights to perform Mamma Mia next year. Our community musicals have been really popular both with audiences and performers, and we think this one will be no exception. Everyone knows the music of ABBA and will love seeing it come to life on stage.”
The performances are scheduled for September next year. Ms Andreazza says “We have a lot of work to do before then. We are firstly calling for expressions of interest for a Director for the show, followed by the establishment of a full production team. Auditions will be held early next year, but those interested in auditioning can register their interest on our website now.”
The past few musicals the theatre have produced, including The Wedding Singer, Legally Blonde, Wicked & Beauty and the Beast, have been wonderful opportunities for local musicians, actors, singers, dancers and backstage crew to be involved. Many people involved have gone on to study and work in theatre & acting, having had a great start in local theatre.
Ms Andreazza said “We will be looking for lots of people to be involved, whether as cast members, musicians, production crew or sponsors, so stayed tuned to find out how you can be part of the fun.”
